We are considering selling or trading all of our 4 palomino 2 year old fillies. We are having a terrible time pricing them for that reason we are only interested in trades. The only trades we would consider for any of the fillies would be for a very massive halter broodmare. She must be 100% sound, easy to handle, extremely heavy muscled and an own daughter. We would like to lease a few good mares for the 2012 breeding season to breed to our stallions. We will return them bred to your choice of our stallions. At this time we have 2 sons of KCS, a palomino son of JMK Malibu Ken, a nice cremello colt and a really nice appy colt. We are interested in big bodied pretty mares that are sound and easy to handle. They can be halter or performance bred as long as they are big heavy knock out pretty mares. We will consider mares that are AQHA, APHA, ApHC registered as well as big draft and TB mares. As usual, we will keep most or all of our fillies and sell or trade most of our colts. We have already had several people express interest in our colts that will be available. Most will be be dilute or double dilute in color and we should have some outstanding show and stallion prospects. People ask us all of the time about trades. We are currently looking for a commercial gas range with 2-4 burners, a grill and oven and an older working soda machine that will hold cans or bottles. We would also trade for a pinball machine, cappuccino machine, pool table, pool table light (prefer a Budweiser light with the draft horses on it). These items will be used in our homes, they don't have to be new or even near new but they need to be in good working order and not super beat up. The only horse trade we will consider is for a very heavy muscled broodmare. She can be halter or performance bred as long as she is very "pretty", sound, heavy muscled and we prefer that she is open to breed early. Preference given to dilute colored mares. As you can tell from the photos below we have gotten a couple of Longhorn cows. We will also trade for more purebred cows or heifers (any breed except for Herefords). We would also be interested in trading for a package of purebred Longhorn bull calves. We would LOVE to trade for a couple of purebred draft mares (no greys) to breed to Kid. The bigger the better, they must be 100% sound, gentle and easy to handle.

We occasionally do a little trading. We are always looking for nice halter bred horses as well as other horse and non horse related items. If you have a halter bred horse that you would like to do some trading on for one of our horses that we have for sale or Western Furnishings, see the Western Furnishings link from our home page. We do not include our puppies in horse trades. If you are interested in one of the horses that we have for sale, feel free to ask any questions that you have. We will be happy to answer them. You are more than welcome to have any horse we have for sale vetted by our vet or any other vet you would like to call at your cost. We will provide a coggins and health certificate for every horse leaving our state or being picked up by a hauler (we believe it is our responsibility not the buyer's to prove that our horses are healthy). We will make ourselves available to meet your hauler at his/her convenience. We understand that a hauler can not always pick a horse up immediately, for that reason we will provide board at no cost for 2-4 weeks depending on our agreement and your hauler's schedule. Deposits are non refundable.

There have been so many people that have asked to breed to Kid. We have tried to find a place to ship semen for the last couple of years but we have never found anyone close to us that we can use. For that reason our stallions books will be closed again in 2011. Our horses are for our own pleasure and enjoyment, we live cover our mares and a personal investment for the phantom, lab and equipment to collect and ship would be an extremely expensive and unnecessary investment for us. Once again, we are truly honored that anyone has considered one of our stallions for their mare.

Gus is Zans Rawhide, Sir Quincy Dan and Tease Impressive bred. We recently found out that Gus is dead. He died from complications of a testicle injury that he received while in the care of his owner. I wish I would have kept him. This horse had so much potential as a sire he had the ability to have had a tremendous impact and never had the opportunity to reach his potential as a sire. All you have to do is see his son Their Blowin Smoke above under "Stallions" to see what a loss has been experienced by the death of this stallion. Gus never got the opportunity to fulfill his destiny.

Dial Mea Tradition & BS Buckley (sire & dam) This poor filly did not survive the massive injuries that she received from her dam during foaling (mare attacked the filly, she died of brain damage and a broken neck). What a tragic waste of her life that could have been easily avoided had the woman that sold us her dam; Dial Mea Tradition and owns her sire; BS Buckley, just been honest with us about the mare and what happens when she foals. The moral of this story is, if someone contacts you out of the blue and wants to sell you a horse.... say NO!

Dandy's dam; Im High Fashion was also a 3/4 sister to Mr Yella Fella.
