Miniature Cattle Dogs - Miniature Heelers

The photos on this page are examples of Mini Cattle Dogs/Mini Heelers. They are photos of our dogs and puppies that they have had.

To see the Mini and Standard Cattle Dog/Heeler puppies that we currently have available for sale, their photos, prices, when they can leave and photos of their parents, go to the "Cattle Dog Puppies" page. "Cattle Dog Puppies" is the bottom link on the left side of our home page.

Everyday people get on our website and see our Mini Heelers, they will grab the phone and call us excited about what a neat thought it is to get their favorite breed of dog in a mini size, and say that they have never heard of a Mini Heeler. Although we will always have beautiful standard size Heeler puppies, to our knowledge we are the first and only breeders to concentrate their breeding program on a beautiful healthy Heeler puppy that is 100% Heeler, free from genetic defects, have all of the Heeler desire, drive and devotion that they are famous for but mature much smaller than standard size for the breed.

We don't cut corners and we don't take the easy way out, our Miniature Heeler adults and puppies are 100% Cattle Dogs. We have not taken the low road and used any smaller toy breeds of dogs and crossed them with Heelers to get us to our end result faster. It has taken us well over 12 years to get where we are in our MINIATURE BREEDING PROGRAM by using nothing but PUREBRED CATTLE DOGS.

The majority of our Mini Heeler puppies will mature 12-14 inches tall and 20-30 lbs, although anymore it isn't unusual for one in a litter to be even smaller. If that doesn't sound that small to you, remember a standard size Heeler is 16 inches or taller with many being 20 inches tall at the shoulder or more and 45-65 lbs. Although we get calls from people all of the time that have or have had a big stout male Heeler that is 80 lbs.

When you get a puppy from us, it has never been on concrete, in a kennel, crate or a wire cage. Our puppies come from our family to yours! You are welcome to come and pick your puppy up when it is ready to leave however we don't let people come on our place just to look. That keeps us from having germs walked onto our property that could be life threatening to our puppies.

Josie - ULTRA Mini - Josie is looking out our living room window at our puppy house (our puppy house is both heated and air conditioned for our puppies' and their mom's comfort), the puppy runs come right up to our house, if you look close enough you can even see the doggie doors that the puppies and their moms use to go in and out (yes, our puppies come "doggie door trained!). All of our puppies are born in our house and stay in the house with us and their moms until they are 4 weeks old. Then they move right outside our living room window so we can all watch them including Josie!

Our MINI Heelers/Cattle Dogs are 100% PUREBRED HEELERS. It has taken us well over 12 years to breed the size down in our dogs while keeping the great Heeler personality, beautiful Heeler look and a healthy puppy that we are proud to give you a 1 Year Health Guarantee on. There is a breeder in Oregon that is crossing Chihuahuas and Miniature Australian Shepherds with Australian Cattle Dogs/Blue Heelers and are advertising them them as "Purebred Toy and Mini Heelers".  We don't care what anyone else does with their breeding program, breed all of the "exotic" or "hybrid" breeds that you want to, just be honest about it. Don't call them a purebred if they are not. I'm sure there are many people that would be happy to buy the "exotic" cross. Calling them purebreds when they are not is not fair to the buyers that are being misled and it is very unfair to the puppies who have done nothing wrong but are not what they are being sold as.

Our puppies are 100% Heelers. Their parents aren't crossed with any toy or mini breeds to make them small. It has taken us well over 12 years of hard work and a lot of planning to be able to produce a beautiful healthy Heeler puppy that will mature 12-14 inches tall and 20-30 lbs, some may even be a little smaller than that. If that sounds big to you remember a standard Heeler is 16 inches or better with many over 20 inches tall and 45-65 lbs as an average. We hear from people all of the time that has a mature male Heeler that has topped 80 lbs.
